Jaclyn grew up in a small town near the Jersey Shore where she attended The Rehearsal Hall and Broadway Bound Dance Academy. Growing up, Jaclyn trained mainly in ballet, tap and jazz, as well as pointe, hip hop, cultural dance, acro, and lyrical. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Stockton University, where she also studied Education and Dance. She cherishes her time on the Stockton Dance Team and in the Stockton Dance Company.

Jaclyn is an avid dance teacher to kids of all ages. She is a tap and jazz choreographer, and her choreography has won specialty awards from judges, such as the “Precision” award at nationals for 3 consecutive years, and the “Musicality” award at regionals. She loves to train the next generation of dancers to find the details within the movement, to push themselves in every class by holding a high standard of performance & most importantly, to lead any dance with passion, vulnerability, and heart. One of her favorite things to do is to clean already set dances on groups of all ages, with an emphasis on improving teamwork, precision, communication, and artistry.

Jaclyn is a Personal Trainer in NYC and has been in the fitness industry for nearly 10 years. She has her Pilates certification and has taught many group fitness classes such as Barre, HIIT, Spinning, Stretch and more. Being a dancer all her life, health and fitness have always been a priority for her, and she loves helping people find joy in any type of movement. She’s stepped away from the classic idea of “no pain, no gain” and now focuses on the mantra of “Movement is Medicine.” This mindset shift changes the viewpoint from exercise equaling a punishment to exercise equaling self-love & self-care. Jaclyn prioritizes teaching people to become more in tune with their bodies; treating it like a temple, since we only get one in this life.
